Alaa Mhsen, PMHNP

Alaa Mhsen is a highly skilled and compassionate board citified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who is dedicated to provide tailored mental health management to improve the client’s quality of life and productivity.

Alaa Mhsen has earned Medical Doctorate MD degree from University of Damascus-Syria and become ECFMG certified. Later, he pursued his goal in psychiatry-mental health to be become a board citified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He graduated from university of Texas with BSN and earned his master’s degree in psychiatry-mental health at Herzing University. 

Alaa Mhsen’s clinical interests include depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, PTSD, schizophrenia, and addiction. His scope of practice includes adults and adolescents with a holistic approach to patient’s mental and psychological issues. 

Alaa Mhsen was born and raised in Damascus – Syria. He is fluent in English and Arabic. Alaa resides in Houston. Alaa enjoys learning new languages, cooking, and sport.
